This week's high school league report

The final night of the regular season was held at Shorecrest Lanes and DeLaSalle boys won both the varsity and junior varsity divisions and East Detroit won the varsity girl's portion of the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Michigan High School Bowling Conference.

In the girl's competition we saw the two highest series of the year bowled. Chelsea Rivard had 166-225 (high game for the year) for 391 as she led South Lake to a 26-4 win over Cousino. East Detroit won the championship as Ashley Yandura rolled 192-198 for 390 and a 26-4 win over Lincoln.

DeLaSalle maintained their one game edge over Roseville as they defeated Lincoln 27-3. Sal Garrisi of Roseville shot the high game for the year, a 279, and added 181 for the high series of the year (460). Roseville defeated South Lake 25-5.In the other match East Detroit defeated Cousino 21-9.

Next Wedneday, Feb. 13th, the varsity players will be at Rosebowl to try to qualify for the Conference singles tournament. On Friday, the 15th they will bowl at Bonanza Lanes to try to qualify for the Conference team tournament..
