| This week's high school bowling report In the eight week, of a ten week schedule, the Eastern Division matches were held at Eastpointe Lanes. Although DeLaSalle remained unbeaten, they were tied 15-15 by Cousino. Cousino bowled very well, rolling the second high series of the year, 1997, on games of 1026 and 971. They were led by Justin Gajewski who rolled 455 on games of 232 and 223. Steve Bauer added 433, which included a 243 game, and Shawn King had a 405. Dominick Spadafore was high for DeLaSalle rolling a 425 series on games of 205 and 220. Lincoln won only their second match of the year defeating Roseville 27-3 and DeLaSalle is now 2 and 1/2 games up on Roseville with only two matches left. In the other match East Detroit used the home floor advantage to defeat South Lake 27.5 to 2.5. Eric Skibbe was high for East Detroit with a 390 series. In the girl's varsity East Detroit regained first place alone after defeating South Lake 18-12. Ashley Yandura was high for East Detroit with 316. Kati Craven rolled 318 for South Lake. Cousino tied South Lake for second, one game back, after beating Lincoln 24-6. Nicole Bastian, of Cousino, rolled the high girl's series of the day, a 346. In the JV competition it has narrowed to a two team race. DeLaSalle defeated Cousino 26-4 to remain in first. Jeremy Pawlak and Rob Kochanowicz each had 379 for DeLaSalle. Roseville also won by a 26-4 margin outscoring Lincoln. South Lake beat East Detroit 18-12 but Chris Himes was high for East Detroit, and the JV division with a 394 series.
