This week's high school bowling report

In the Eastern Division matches of January 16th at Bonanza Lanes DeLaSalle remained unbeaten by defeating Roseville 23-7. They are now 7-0. The Pilots had the high series of the year, 2007, on games of 1027 and 980 and then after losing the first Baker game 205-194 they came back to win the second game 256-197. Anthony Bonk was high for

the match with 430 which included a 250 game. This moves his average to 194 which is high for this division. Chris Ross added 414. Ryan Belknap was high for Roseville with 390. Roseville is in second place with a 5-2 record. South Lake defeated Cousino 21-9 to tie them for third place with 3-4 records. Jim Cote rolled 415 including a 234 game for South Lake. In the other match Lincoln got their first win beating East Detroit in a close match 19.5 to 10.5. Jim Brinkey had a 235 game and 422 series for Lincoln.

In the girl's varsity East Detroit defeated Lincoln 26-4 and South Lake beat Cousino 20-10, Nicole Bastian, of Cousino, had the high girls series for the week with 323. East Detroit and South Lake are now tied for the lead followed by Cousino and Lincoln.

In the battle for first place in the junior varsity competition DeLaSalle defeated Roseville 22-8. Rob Kochanowicz had a 246 game and 390 series for DeLaSalle and Duane Boswell had 397 for Roseville. In the other two matches Cousino downed South Lake 19-11 and East Detroit defeated Lincoln 20-10. Paul Page had 379 for East Detroit.
