| High School Bowling League The Red Division of Southeastern Michigan High School Bowling Conference held its second week of competition at Eastpointe Lanes on December 5th. In the Varsity competition DeLaSalle took the lead and is the only unbeaten team with a 2 and 0 record. Cousino, East Detroit, Roseville and South Lake all have won 1 and lost 1 while Lincoln is 0 and 2. DeLaSalle defeated East Detroit 28-2 and were led by Anthony Bonk with 371. Roseville was led by Kris Vostoris with 385 and a 231 game as they defeated Cousino 26-4. Shawn King was high for Cousino with 388 for the two games. In the other match South Lake defeated Lincoln 19-11. In the girl's division Cousino is in first place with a 2 and 0 record. East Detroit and South Lake are both 1 and 1 and Lincoln is 0 and 2. Cousino won their match from Lincoln 26-4 and East Detroit defeated South Lake 22-8. Ashley Yandura, of East Detroit High, was high again this week with a 332 series. In the junior varsity competition DeLaSalle is leading with a two win and no loss record. Cousino, East Detroit, Roseville and South Lake all have one win and one loss. Lincoln is last with no wins and two losses. Jason Kaurich and Tyjuan Kirby, both of DeLaSalle, had the high two game scores in the JV matches with 379. Jerron Contratto of Roseville had the high game of the day with 234. The December 12th matches will be at Sterling Lanes and December 19th at Rosebowl Lanes. Both matches will start at 3:45 PM. |
