| WIBC nominating committee announces 2002 candidates GREENDALE, Wis. - The Women's International Bowling Congress' Nominating Committee announced the candidates for positions on the WIBC Board of Directors, including president. Nominees for the position of WIBC president are Sylvia Broyles, Spring Branch, Tex., and Elaine Hagin, Castro Valley, Calif. The position becomes vacant as current WIBC President Joyce Deitch will not seek re-election and retires after her term expires on July 31, 2002. Additional nominees are as follows: 2nd VICE PRESIDENT: Joan J. Feinblum, Redwood Empire and California WBAs 5th VICE PRESIDENT: Tamoria C. Adams, Charlotte and North Carolina WBAs Barbara M. Johnson, Jackson and Mississippi WBAs DIRECTOR #1: Cher I. Rider, Davenport-Bettendorf and Iowa WBAs DIRECTOR #2: C. Darlene Baker, Clinton, Champaign-Urbana and Illinois WBAs DIRECTOR #3: Deloise I. Poindexter, Washington, D.C. and Virginia State WBAs DIRECTOR #4: Jo E. Dimond, Columbus and Ohio WBAs DIRECTOR #5: Betty K. Kingsley, Rochester and New York State WBAs DIRECTOR #6: Suzanne M. Windisch, Iowa City and Iowa WBAs The Nominating Committee will introduce its candidates the day before elections at the 2002 WIBC Annual Meeting, April 22-24 in Milwaukee. Nominees from the floor are not part of the committee's report. Each candidate is nominated to serve a three-year term. Resumes for each candidate will be posted on bowl.com by Dec. 21.
